The Camp of Champions Letter to Parents
The staff at The Camp of Champions would like to invite your child to participate in our 1st annual non-profit youth football camp.
The Camp of Champions staff is pleased to provide a training camp to give young athletes the opportunity to gain skills and confidence in the wonderful game of football. Our camp will be organized and structured with the same care and attention to detail that our highly successful high school and youth programs benefit from here at La Habra High School. We will be incorporating an added benefit of slowing down the process to make certain that each camper has a solid fundamental foundation and understanding of the game. Every camper enrolled will learn strength, speed, and conditioning techniques that will help him develop those physical attributes necessary to play the game.
It is important to all of us at The Camp of Champions to promote the game of football that we truly love. We look forward to helping your child improve as a young football player. In order to accomplish this, campers will be instructed and drilled by La Habra High School's Head Football Coach, Frank Mazzotta, and his staff. Coach Mazzotta is a 5-time Southern Section CIF Champion. All 5 of Coach Mazzotta's championships have been won within the last 10 years! The Camp of Champions will have some of the best high school and youth athletic coaches in our areas, as well as two of the best speed and strength programs around available to our campers. Matt Robinson, Director of Athletes Quest Speed and Strength program, and Cody Verdugo, Director of Speed 101, will be directly involved with the development of your child's football skills.
For years, La Habra High School football has been well known for its organization, teaching, attention to detail, and for promoting a positive environment for all its high school players. We strive to do the same for your child when they attend our program. The camp will be taught in a fashion that will allow our youth campers with the same facilities and opportunities given to the athletes who attend LHHS. Our goal at The Camp of Champions is to make every child who attends camp a better football player, a better team member, and a more confident young athlete.
If you want your child to learn football and have a great time doing it, this is the football camp for you. We are excited about having your child attend The Camp of Champions and look forward to the opportunity to teach your child the past and present traditions of La Habra Football and the new traditions of The Camp of Champions.
Sincerely,
The Camp of Champions Staff
